What is TriboMeca® technology?

TriboMeca® is developing an innovative lubrication technology based on a dry film acting at the micro-geometric scale. The tribological and mechanical properties of the TriboMeca® concentrate act like submicroscopic ball bearings, ensuring continuous lubrication of metal surfaces.

What is the main role of TriboMeca®?

It significantly reduces friction between moving metal parts, thereby reducing metal-on-metal dry contact, the main cause of mechanical wear (more than 80%, according to manufacturers).

Does TriboMeca® replace engine oil?

No. It is an additive that is added to the existing oil. It does not replace it or alter its original properties. It is compatible with all oils (mineral, semi-synthetic, and synthetic).

Where can TriboMeca® technology be used?

TriboMeca® is used in all mechanical systems that rely on hydrodynamic lubrication:

  • Automotive engines (passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles)
  • Racing engines
  • Industrial machinery, compressors and gearboxes

How long does the protective film last?

The film remains active between two complete drainings (up to 50,000 km depending on operating conditions). or up to 600 hours.

How do you use TriboMeca®?

Pour the product directly into the oil when changing the oil or into the existing oil (engine, manual transmission, hydraulic system, etc.). The molecules disperse on the metal after 15 minutes of operation and at 60°C.
